The API Documentation Microsite provides detailed reference information on the data elements used in the EasyLink Messaging API requests and results. The information in the microsite should be used as a supplement to the EasyLink Messaging API function schemas. It attempts to lay out the structure of the request and result XML files in a way that may be more intelligible than the schemas themselves.

The current documents available on the microsite are:

• EasyLink Messaging API 2.4 Manual - with information on the "standard" set of API functions, and
• EasyLink Messaging Account API 2.4 Manual - with information on the account management API functions.

These documents apply to the current 2.4 version of the Messaging API.

For those just starting with the API, the EasyLink Messaging API Basic Guide provides initial guidelines on the process.  There are also a number of sample programs available in the document repository.
