This function simply requests some status information about the Cloud Fax and Notifications API interface system. The information returned has to do with the internal queues used by the Cloud Fax and Notifications API, and is of no practical use to the end user - the main intended use of this function is to verify that the client and the API hosts are communicating properly, which may be helpful during development and test of client systems. This function differs from other Cloud Fax and Notifications API functions in two ways: the authentication information is not checked, and no back-end system is accessed. Consequently, this test function does not indicate whether the back-end systems are in fact available, or that the user is authorized to actually perform any other Cloud Fax and Notifications API function.
