A domain is a complete system that processes and delivers messages. Domains are independent of each other, with each having its own set of processing components, delivery agents, documents, and jobs. When a job is submitted using the API, the domain name used for the job is returned in the job submit response in the XDN element of the JobID. The domain name is an essential part of the identifier of the JobID.
