Job status requests After a job is submitted, it needs to go through set up and processing. Hence, OpenText recommends waiting for a few minutes after submitting the job before asking for job status. Here are our recommendations: Wait for a reasonable amount of time before resubmitting JobDeliveryStatus API requests for the same job ID. Waiting avoids sending too many requests in a short period of time resulting in a lack of status since your job is likely still attempting to deliver. If you received “No Information” for RecStatus tag in the response to JobDeliveryStatus request for a job ID, you can stop submitting JobDeliveryStatus requests for the same job ID in the future since the job has been removed from the network. However, this statement is not true if the job was recently submitted in which case you can resubmit JobDeliveryStatus requests.
