JobDeliveryStatus sample code (C# and Java)

The JobDeliveryStatus API returns job's overall status as well as status of individual deliveries (see https://apiforums.easylink.com/emapidocs/26/JobDeliveryStatus/JobDeliveryStatusResult.html).

The code at the links describes how to use C# and Java to obtain detailed information about the deliveries in a job submitted using the JobSubmit API.

In result.xml files,

A StatusCode of 0 means “good.” Anything else means something less than success. Refer to status type man pages https://apiforums.easylink.com/emapidocs/26/Common/StatusType.html.

If the result shows an error, look for the gammacode and description following the State under DeliveryDetail. Gamma code provides more detailed status information, mainly applicable to the error state. See gamma codes at https://apiforums.easylink.com/content/gamma-codes.

Successful and unsuccessful fax delivery result files are provided in “Sample XML files” . The unsuccessful result.xml file shows the delivery failed due to incorrect fax number (a nine-digit fax number instead of the required a ten-digit number). The system throws gamma code 5104 to indicate the fax number in the submitted fax job contains too few digits.
