These pages describe an earlier version of the Cloud Fax and Notifications API. While that version continues to function, new development should use the current version.
1.2 Request Namespaces
The overview page for each Cloud Fax and Notifications API function shows the XML namespace to be used for the elements in the SOAP Header and Body in the 2.4 version of the API. Older namespaces are also honored, but these pages only document the request versions that are "current" in the 2.4 API.
Schema namespaces have the form of a URL, but these URLs can not be used as service endpoints. Due to the large number of different services supported, the WSDL files cannot be obtained using the service endpoint URLs. In short, the URL used to retrieve the WSDL is not the same as the URL to which the SOAP requests should be sent.
EasyLink supports several different service endpoint URLs for the Cloud Fax and Notifications API in order to support testing and deployment. Contact EasyLink to obtain the service endpoint URL most appropriate for a particular purpose.
